Has anyone seen this Russian learning channel? It's pretty good I have to say.

She's been working on it for over 3 years and I noticed she was quite down the other day as it barely pays for her own internet usage. Needs more followers/views! More for intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced learners as she speaks in Russian only:

EDIT: There are also accented subtitles in Russian and English so even beginners should take a look.

Please like and share!

I love her channel. I discovered it I guess a few months ago. She enunciates so clearly, and puts a lot of work into both English and Russian subtitles. Plus the topics she covers are interesting.

She speaks clearly and is easy to understand. I could understand that she is a teacher. I want to see her videos as part of my Russian learning plan. Thank you very much for sharing the link :-)

By the way, I don't agree with this:

More for intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced learners as she speaks in Russian only

The channel is also excellent for BEGINNERS.

There are subtitles in English and the Russian subtitles come with stress marks. Actually the first channel I have seen that uses stress marks in their Russian subtitles.

The pronunciation is very clear, making the content easily followable.

I also really like how calm and collected she is. I can't always follow the overly energetic Youtubers. ( For one, Easy Russian is anything but easy in my opinion! xD )

Obviously nothing against you, just thought I'd mention it so beginners wouldn't shrug and pass on this channel :)

Thank you for posting. There are many and I mean many Russian learning sites on YouTube. Hers is excellent but the competition is stiff. As it is between Duolingo, College Russian 101, a few e-books, weekly Skype calls with two HelloLingo pals and one weekly afternoon Russian coffee & conversation session, my wife is about to send me off to Siberia.

I do hope Tatiana does well enough to continue, but I fear her expectations for some substantial monetization are unrealistic.

Well, she told me that she only gets paid $14 for 8 hours work. And the majority of Russian learning websites on youtube do not speak Russian. I don't think the competition is anywhere near as stiff as, say, graphic design, where everyone wants to be a logo designer. She already has three patreons, and one of them is me.

Maybe you are not prepared to outlay for any more learning resources, and that is absolutely fine. No one is asking/expecting you to. As for me however, I am prepared to pay around $2000-3000 for my Russian studies. So far, I've only spent about a third of that budget on numerous materials.

I wish her well. It is just going to be difficult for her to monetize her channel. Patreon is probably the best way. I agree most other sites are bilingual to some extent, although with the English captions so is hers. I've found College Russian great for my needs. I also appreciate the structured learning of an actual course. https://youtu.be/yu2582wHq94 Yes she has a slight American accent, but then so do I.

I can't even estimate how much I have spent on my language studies. Easily $2000 just in printed materials, maybe that much in printer toner alone. If people are committed, both time and money are required. I've simply no more time. As it is, after nearly 2 years of daily Russian study, and despite the assurances of my paid tutor, I still have a long way to go.

Thanks for the link. I've been following a couple of Youtube channels for Russian learners, but never came acoss her channel. Her problem is probably that she never managed to crack Google's search result algorithms. You need lots of likes and channel subscriptions to get to the top of the search results and if your channel stays under a certain threshold, it will remain undiscovered for years. She's stuck in a catch 22. Hopefully this thread will help her get followers and people willing to buy lessons or Skype sessions.
