Kami tinggal di masa depan?

Same here. I have no idea if this is an Indonesian idiom, an aphorism or if this is actually grammatically incorrect somehow.

My understanding is that hidup is living in the abstract and tinggal is living in a location. E.g. We live in a free world = hidup, we live in this house = tinggal.

Exellent... Thank you!

I thought that you could use 'pada' instead of 'di' in reference to time (month, date, etc.), so would 'Kami hidup pada masa depan' work?
