¿Cuándo es tu.. ?

¿Cuándo es tu viste en el hospital?

I listened to it over and over.., why viste? why not cita? or visita?

why isn’t such a noun in the dictionary? why isnt’t google giving me any results?

then I read it..

¿Cuándo estuviste en el hospital?

*facepalm*

Ha! It reminds me one time that I arrived at church and I asked a lady that was standing at the door how was her Saturday. She told me that she had a wonderful Saturday because she was celebrating her daughter's 20-second birthday. I was shocked, how can they have a birthday celebration in only 20 seconds?? Is that an idiom?? then, WHAM! slap in the forehead... 22nd birthday.

Very funny. Ahora ten cuidado si encuentras frases con las siguientes palabras: helado, el lado, el hado.

English translation of the above: Now be careful if you find phrases with the following words: helado, el lado, el hado.

They all sound exactly the same, but they have three completely different meanings.

Buena suerte =)

Hilarious, Antonmo!

In Swedish:

Kan jag få tala med Herman There? (May I speak to Herman There?)

Jag beklagar, vi har ingen medarbetare som heter så. (I´m sorry, we dont´t have any coworker with that name).

After hanging up I realized that the person calling was asking for Mr. Manthere (Herr Manthere).

I called a gourmet shop one time and asked "Do you have a mandolin?" Reply: "We don't have any Amanda here."

Estuviste. NO es tu viste. It is the past tense of verb estar. Only one word, not three. I think this is all you need to understand this issue.
