French Word of the Day!
Hello, as you may know, I had a Czech Word of the Day, but couldn't continue because of issues. But now I am starting it up again with French!
The First Word is, Château, Castle
Cool! Here are two sentences I made up using the singular and plural forms:
Mes amis ont des petits châteaux. Mon château est très grand.
I just got on to Google Translate and I saw what you made up with those French words!!! Bonjour à celui qui lit ceci! Je me demande qui peut tous traduire cela!!!
Bonjour, Kanji Senpai..
what made Château the word of the day for you? Pourquoi aimes-tu ce mot?
Since this post is about French, could you move it to the French forum? More of the people who are interested in French will see it there, and it will help keep this forum easy to navigate for those who aren't currently studying French.
Don't delete it and create a new one, just click edit, and change the topic from Duolingo to French. Here's a guide on how to move a post: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/16609773.
Thanks! I think that this is a really cool series that you are doing, keep it up! ~Stella
Expression française, "Mener une vie de château": to live a life of luxury :)
Salut! I like French, and I'm glad to see that you, apparently, like it too! Au revoir!!!!
It is just a interesting, and common word! Thank you for asking Giovanna-Louise! Most of these words will be interesting words...
Merci pour le mot du jour.
Since you're studying catalan, and I just started catalan today, I'll mention that château in Catalá is castell
