Should be we are selling chicken... not the chicken

Does DL not accept your translation? Report it. 'We are selling the chicken' would be unusual in English, but definitely not wrong. Image two farmers at a market with a cow and a chicken. They might tell a potential customer: We are not selling the cow but we sell the chicken': hatuuzi ng'ombe lakini tunauza kuku.
