Audio terminates too soon! Lots of folks comment/complain but I haven’t seen an explanation from Duo

Since audio is so important to language learning I can’t understand why this continues to be a problem. And if Duo has explained it I haven’t been able to find their explanation. More than that I like to know how to fix it. Please Duo!! What’s up?

Same here, but only on the laptop (no audio problems on my phone). I have to click on the 'play' button again to hear the whole phrase.

There are every new surprises in the Duolingo software. It's really bad and has a lot of bugs. And very often the conditions change without notice. I have the feeling that this is intentivly done to urge people to DL plus. On the other hand, the are not so smart to bother people with slow and unreliable software which does not crash. And a crash I have never had in more that 3 years.

I have been with DL since 2011 and in the last two days have experienced trouble first not being able to access DL using Firefox. I am here now with Microsoft Edge and for the Spanish Part 4, Level 3, Food 2 (using "jump to level 4") when the screen states: "Type what you hear". there is NO SOUND. This is my second day attempting that particular lesson without success. Hopefully, someone in DL will acknowledge and explain/repair this. Note: Before posting here, I did try the troubleshooting area and was unsuccessful with this issue that seems similar to the rest of you here on this particular discussion.
