Will the Japanese Course be expanded in the near future?

I completed the Japanese tree a long time ago, but I feel like the course is very surface level, and extremely short considering the complexity of the Japanese language. It would be cool to have more courses with more in-depth grammar and a wider vocabulary.

So does anybody know if there are any plans to expand the tree??? <3

This is one of the top threads in the discussions right now. The 2.0 tree is ready, has over 1000 kanji, and is soon to be released. Sometime soon the tree will go public.

Nowhere, I’m a liar...

I wish I went Japan though, but I have just not been using duolingo.

Same here! I looked over the course and I have a friend who's in the middle of it, and she said that it's a bit shallow... so I'm really glad that I'll be able to learn with more content to study from :)
