I don't mind that 'sendang' also means 'happy', I just don't like that this is the first time we see it.
They should introduce a word before they test you on it.

Senang = Bahagia = gembira? So many words for happy. Is there any difference in nuance between them?
They are synonyms and no, there is no difference between them. However, they served a slightly different purpose from the point of expression.
- We express 'gembira' by laughing
- We express 'senang' by smiling
- Bahagia diekspresikan dalam hati dan perasaan. (Feeling)
But in Indonesia, simply use 'senang' or 'seneng' (non-formal word)
