French Dictionary in Duolingo

I just discovered the Duolingo French Dictionary under Labs. It is really cool. Check it out.

Merci de le signaler, chère Marianne. J'avais trouvé Labs dans le grand bandeau bleu, un dictionnaire (reverso) très utile pour nous les apprenants de l'anglais à partir du français, qui n'étions pas pourvus de la petite ampoule nous permettant de recevoir les règles dans les leçons. J'en remercie les concepteurs.

It's nice to see Duolingo making new features. But as an online dictionary, it's far from being the best. It doesn't give the grammatical gender of a word, and some translations are incorrect. Take the word "atelier" for example. It best translates as "workshop" but Duolingo translates it as "shop". (See here: https://www.duolingo.com/dictionary/French/atelier/c6abedf0eb74ee8cbb8ea522c20b774d)

My advice for learners, is to use Collin's. Here's what you get for looking up "atelier": https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/french-english/atelier.

Look at this one. "Atelier" maybe not be in Duolingo scope of work. I bet they add content at a later date.

Could be. I mostly use the website, not the app.
