how much time should I spend practicing?

If this is too long then don't read just skip to the bottom.

I do not use this website in school (although I wish they did) but in my personal time. I was wondering how many lessons I should do a day so then eventually at some point, I can fluently speak German. At first, I just did as many as I could until I got tired of studying but then I started just meeting my goal of 50 experience a day.

TLDR- so what I'm asking is how long should I study and practice German.

I would say as much as possible. I am learning German as well and I don't think you need as much time for an easier language like German compared to something like Hebrew or Japanese. 50 XP per day sounds pretty good if you are getting 10 XP for each lesson. Obviously, there will be days where you can't do that much but those probably count as an occasional exception. I would say you should probably keep going at the rate you are at. Good Luck!! P.S. Sorry, I get a little long-winded sometimes.

Yeah, as much as possible, but not overkill, like 1000 xp a day, that's just way too much if you are learning something new.

If you’re like most people, you’ll approach basic fluency faster with more hours of study per day. Approach your goal with as much gusto as you can, but keep it fun and don’t burn out. Nobody can tell you what you can and what you cannot handle.
