Turn off leagues

Literally no one asked for this. Your subreddits are full of complaints. You ignore all feedback. Turn leagues off or I’m canceling my account. I’m sick of the shoddy customer service I’ve received from these developers. I’ve sent dozens of emails of varying politeness to improve what I thought was a good teaching tool. I’ve watched you go from truly free to ad supported to sometimes the ads being the only thing that works. I watched you add clubs no one wanted or used when you still had bugs in your delivery and content, and now you’ve wasted your development time and resources instituting leagues that most people hate instead of fixing broken software.

If I’m still getting notifications I can’t turn off for leagues I don’t want to be in on May 1st then I’m done and you can stick my 1100 day streak in your ear.

That is an absurd way to do it, but I found the settings as you described. Thank you.

I am no longe submitting bugs to Duolingo. I reported one bug for five months and was ignored while they rolled out clubs. I am less than impressed with the developers and, to be frank, am testing other software. The sunk cost fallacy is very real, however, and I keep seeing that 1100 day streak.

Thank you for your help.
