Japanese Improvement

I don't know where to post this so I will just be adding this here. I really believe that duolingo could make the Japanese classes much easier by adding the futakana on top of the kanji. Kanji is hard to learn without the futakana on top. And so when we see a new kanji, we do not know how to read it. However, if the futakana were there would make learning japanese all the much easier.

I completely agree. Kanji is very difficult for me to read, since I dont know how to pronounce it. This would help a LOT!!

I completely agree that Furigana would be a HUGE help for learning kanji! But I think it should be something you can choose to remove or add as you need to yourself, as otherwise you might just end up reading the furigana and not learn the kanji properly. Maybe if you click the kanji, you will see how to read it in furigana?

I like your Zoro PFP.

I haven't been learning for very long, but does Duolingo have reading exercises for Japanese? I feel like those plus the furigana would be helpful.

I am sorry, Yeah I guess it's furigana, I have a friend that takes Japanese at school and that's what they told me. But you understood me. That's the important part.

It may also help even inexperienced people report when audio is saying something that does not correspond with the intent and translation.

Just the other day I crossed a phrase that had the audio say the name of a person where the translation had no names at all. And nope, it wasn't "Mr.Tanaka" xD. If not for the discussions the mystery would remain and I would not have reported the audio.
