Word banks not entirely visible

When there is a very long sentence the bottom line of the word bank can't be viewed!

I was having the same problem. Try to lower the resolution (zoom out) of the screen so that all the words fit in the screen. They are all there just not visible.

  • Zoom out: Press Ctrl (CMD on a Mac) + the minus key (-) on your keyboard.
  • Zoom in: Press Ctrl (CMD on a Mac) + the plus key (+) on your keyboard.

My PC is handling the website fine. The problem is just with my iPad. Thanks anyway.

There should be a scroll bar. If you're on mobile, swipe down.

I've had this problem before in Spanish, doing Conditional Perfect. The bottom three words were "hidden."

What I would do is, if you know the word, look for the box that looks like the word fits in it the best. For example, if it is a 5 letter word, and the bottom boxes are small, medium, and long, choose the medium.

I love Duolingo and have been using it on my iPad every day for the past five years. During the last few days it has been so glitchy that for the first time I am near giving up. Only works on my computer. The iPad app, and website on three separate browsers using the ipad are not working well, hardly working at all. Missing word banks, type covering the word banks, freezing, crashing. Help!

If you are using the website on a PC, you must sometimes shrink the browser display 10% or even 20% to see the complete word bank.

Same problem here for the last several days. Also, not able to click on the blank to fill in the missing word.

At level 25 surely you should be beyond the Word Bank!

I can't speak for the OP, but the main reason I'm using the word bank right now is because I got saddled with 120 new level 0 tree nodes two weeks ago, and I'm working them off as fast as I can, usually 3 or 4 of them a day. Once I'm done with this quasi-forced review period, I'll go back to typing everything.

To be blunt, this is another case of poor user interface design by DuoLingo, something that is becoming far too commonplace here.
