New voice in Chinese course

Hi, did anyone else notice a new male voice in the Chinese course? I wasn't a big fan of the robotic female voice, but the newer one sounds a bit muffled and hard to understand. It's also very inconsistent, the female voice still pronounces some words.

I heard it too and hated it, now when i construct sentences it has both male and female saying the words (it sounds awful).

Is it new? I noticed the pronunciation of 菜 suddenly sounded like "pai". There are definitely some problems.

I noticed it too. About a week ago. I just figured it did this once you got to a certain level - much like about two weeks ago, I started having to speak Chinese into my phone.

Yes, I also noticed that and I hope it is only temporarily. It is awful and very distracting. Think the male voice is probably the alpha version, and they did not update it somehow.

ya, I notice that, but that is hard to hear for the ear. I don't like that change in the chinese language course.

I like all the voices! So great to have so many people pronouncing the characters for me. Am happy with any mix, male or female, deep voice, northern accent, southern accent, don't care! I like them all speaking Chinese to me however they are mixed together. The benefits I get from this are awesome!
