new change: %age vs 2/4 (completed/total)

I noticed the recent change to the quantity of a topic that was completed. It was changed from x/y (such as 2/4) to a percentage (such as 50%). I liked being able to tell how many lessons remained. With the value of 50%, we can't tell if we've completed 2/4 with 2 remaining or 10/20 with 20 remaining. I'd appreciate if you returned to the previous method, 2/4.

I loved this site until a month ago when they started making all kinds of changes. The lessons are screwed up ( questions that ask you to choose an answer but don't give you any answers to choose from ), the visuals are geared to children (bright baby colors with over simplified pics/graphics ) , and the functionality ( your 10% versus 2 or 20 lessons left ). This is extremely frustrating. It was such a wonderful site. Hopefully if they get enough complaints they will fix it.

That would require a willingness to make complaints somewhere those complaints might get heard. the willingness to do that is non-existent.

the complaints have all but slowed to a trickle, no one did anything to really show duolingo they were displeased when it became painfully obvious they were being ignorted in the forum and now we're stuck with a crap system no one really wants until it gets changed to something even worse. bang up job people!!! congratulations!!!

i currently have a 249 day streak. Not my first either. But is am slowly loosing interest in using duolingo. Since the 'new makeover' and additions to the spanish course, using the product is becoming more frustrating daily. The amount of things that are wrong is tremendous. Missing words in selections, incorrect grammer in translations, today i found an entry marked incorrect, because I didn't use nosotros (in a completely optional context). I have had to cut and paste entries in order to get them right the next time because the question had no audio. It is taking a lot longer to do anything and I find myself saving bad answers to paste later just to get through the level. If you are trying to reduce the amount of uses to the site, you are succeeding. Please work on correcting all of these errors, do better qa before releasing new material and quit 'fixing' things that are not broken.
