So, prost is german word for cheers?
It means 'bottoms up'
What does bottoms up mean
All hail the Ale.
I'm surprised I didn't see more comments on this one...
How old is that woman? :D
that is my type of Frau
"Die Frau trinkt Bier" can be "the woman drinks beer or the woman is drinking beer. How can i know the exaclty time?
It depends on the situation at hand I guess.
There is no difference between present simple and present continuous. You have to use"now" for present continuous to differentiate.
Trinkt is "drinks beer". Trinken is"is drinking"
How do i delete? Someone was on my tablet
How do i know if it is one woman to several woman
More than one women is "die Frauen".
Hell yes XD
Trinkt vs Trinkst
Different conjugations of "trinken".
Can someone please (or bitte) explain me the difference between das and die?
Der (masculine), die (feminine), da
Den is the accusative counterpart of der;die and das remain the same in the accusative case.
Why is it die and not das
Because die is feminine, das is nuetral, and der is masculine. Woman is feminine so you use the feminine one. Therefore, die frau
Not "The wife"? I thought Frau could mean wife.
If it has possessives in front yes.Like meine frau ,deine frau etc
It means Mrs too.
what s the difference between ihr and du
du - singular you
ihr - plural you
How do we know when to use Die, Der and Das?
Lesson 2, "The", and the lesson notes.
I don't now why! It side it was wrong but I put women it side is was women but I don't see the deference.
It's because it is womAn (singular). If you put womEn (plural) it would mark you wrong. For plural it would be "die Frauen trinken".
The woman is drinking beer. Surely also fine?
Drinking beer is prohibited in Islam and Christianity. Can you please use something else instead of beer and wine?
I kinda heard the woman say 'drinkt'(I stuck with trinkt though)
My answer was exactly right but it said it wasnt
for some reason the first time I got this I answered "the woman eats beer"
why die and not der? der is supposed to be for singular Der frau and die for plural Die Frauen . Why der doesn't apply here?
This is correct
Die sounds like the.
Wow pretty much no question about the exercise, just making fun of the poor woman drinking beer!
Well... Thats kind-of strange. Beer isn't a female drink.
Die Frau ist eine Alkoholike !!!
The word you are looking for is "Alkoholikerin".
Which syllable am I supposed to stress in this word? In English it'd be al-co-HOL-ic. Would it be Al-ko-ho-LIK-er-in?
The word you wrote is in Czech!
Doesn't she know, it's white wine or a fruit-based drink for the lady ?!?
Let us ladies drink what we want to.
I'm voting up for Sontarans.
The glorious Sontaran empire salutes you puny human! We may decide to spare you when we obliterate the rest of your feeble planet.
And all hail the ale!
