Qual é a diferença entre "Other" e "Another"?

"another" = "an" + "other", então apenas usamos no singular quando usariamos o artigo indefinido. Ao contrário, usamos "other":

"in another building"
- em (um) outro prédio

"in the other building"
- no outro prédio

"the other buildings"
- os outros prédios

Note que por isso, não podemos dizer "the another", que é um erro comum.
