Anyone else noticed a problem with using word bank to answer audio exercises today?

Twice today I had my answer rejected when I chose the full word from word bank, but then on retrying, noticed you could choose 2 or 3 partial word entries from the word bank to make up the same word, and it was marked correct in that case. E.g. みがかないで was wrong as a single entry, but when added using みがか then ない then で it was fine. Also happened on an unrelated sentence, choosing ふとって as single word rather than choosing ふとっ then て. Never noticed before. Wouldn't necessarily seem to be a bug specific to the Japanese course...

This seems to be happening more and more recently.
In past instances of it on here ehartz had looked into it and found nothing wrong with the question itself so it's definitely a strange Duo bug.

I just posted my example problem with both wordbank options for こんばんは in this thread which I think may be talking about the same issue. Probably worth filing a bug report for.

So to anyone experiencing this: I've sent a report but it would be extremely helpful if you could grab a screenshot of this when it happens and post it here; especially if you can zoom out a bit on your screen (to show that there are no other tiles that are hidden and show the ones that are, since often the bottom row gets covered in this new update)

The issue itself seems to stem from the weird situation of there being multiple tiles that can be used to create the correct answer, and the running theory is that only certain tiles are marked correct even though they're identical to others. As in my example though, both combinations were marked wrong; and though I'm pretty sure I didn't have any hidden tiles, maybe there were three options for me and one was just hidden.

Yup, these are completely busted for me as of today.

Yes, I've had a couple over the last 48 hours or so.
