Will the Japanese course ever get a Word Bank?

It would be nice to have a "Words" tab like Spanish does. Is this not possible for Japanese, or will it be a feature in the future? If any language course needed a vocabulary bank, it would be Japanese :)

The words tab for Japanese is there, but it has been hidden by the evil duo owl. You can reveal it by using some simple moogle magic, kupo!

(This works with any language that has the words tab shown, I'll use Italian as an example.)

  1. Open duo in two tabs and go to Italian in both tabs.
  2. Switch to Japanese in one tab.
  3. In the other tab that is still in Italian open the words tab.

That's it. Tested and working on 2019-05-09 using Firefox and Chrome.

They kind of discontinued the use of the Words tab after the original handful of languages were released for some reason.
You can sometimes still access it through workarounds (though since it isn't meant to be viewed it isn't verb complete and the workarounds tend to get patched over), but I find the best alternative to be through the duome words tab which links each entry to the Duo dictionary entry as well as the lesson it is practiced in.
