Slack - language group.
I have created a Slack group, which is still under development, but I am already ready to invite people.
The purpose of this group is to promote and apply conversational practice among language learners.
How to join:
You shall click on this invite link, which will take you to the general chat. https://join.slack.com/t/sprach-gruppe/shared_invite/enQtNjg3NTQ0OTg1MTExLWY0ZWI0NTA3NTEzZWYzMmJlOTY0ZmI4ODc3NzhhNjMyNzQ0YmZlNGY4NzJlMmU0M2UyZDg2MTFkNjVmMWIyY2Q
After you have joined please make sure to read the pinned message (rules) in the general channel. After that, you will have access to the rest of the channels (language channels).
Thank you for your support!
Also, you might know me from other similar posts, regarding Discord groups. The thing is, Discord isn´t optimised for serious people, as it has many distracting functionalities.
Also, in my opinion Slack might be easier to use for older adults and elderly since it is more simple.
You'll need to find a different way to make this work. We're not allowed to post our email addresses here.
Does Slack allow you to share a link so others can join without posting their email?
I think it's a great idea!
Lrtward, thanks for the notice. Actually, I don´t think it does. I´ll see if there is any way I can invite people without breaking Duolingo rules.
I´ll report you back if I find anything.
Hallo! I'm trying to enter the Slack group, but the link returns the following error message page: "This invite link is no longer active. Please check with the person who shared it with you to see if there's a new link available."
Thanks for showing interest! I really appreciate it!
