Norwegian Team Appreciation Post
Everything about the new tree seems so promising. So many new skills and sentences!
I'm really (like really really) excited for this. Many thanks to the Norwegian Team for all the work they are doing!
Bare hyggelig! We're really, really (really!) excited as well. Might even celebrate with some lefse. ;)
I just looked up what a lefse is and wow it looks exactly like the palacsinta we have in Hungary.
Like, it's literally the same.
You're right, of course, but with 17. mai coming up I have to pace myself a little. I can't drink like I did when I was a russ anymore!
Even though I still have a ways to go in the current tree, I'm getting excited about the new one. It is definitely the most fun tree on Duolingo already, and it looks like its going to get even better. You guys have outdone yourselves!
Although I have already thanked the boss in my other reply, there are other contributors whose work should be appreciated as well. So, to all four/six of you (fveldig, Regney, Luke_5.1991, Deliciae / alek_d, Iorua) who made it possible for us to have the opportunity of learning Norwegian at our fingertips, thank you, thank you and thank you.
While waiting for the Medal of St. Olav to be bestowed upon you all (read about it in a funny feud between Delicae and Whizbang), know that the Owl is still regularly issuing its golden statues to all students who have completed their tree and nothing will be able to beat these numbers (more than 800 000 active learners).
P.S. I know that only Deliciae replied to comments on this post but I hope others will see it as well (not in a way of I-want-them-to-see-my-comment but in a we-appreciate-your-hard-work-that-can't-be-taken-for-granted kind of way).
