When will the stable and the mobile version be available?
The beta version right now only works on the website, but not on the App yet. Any timeline?
Update: the beta version is now available on the iOS App (not sure about Android) too.
Hiya, still not on the android app for me. But the incubator says it is moved from incubation phase 2 to 3 this week
Sorry, I do not know.
Here is a "close-to-app-experience" for android. (Maybe you already do this).
On your phone: Navigate to duolingo in your chrome browser. Now on the chrome menu (which is usually top right): Choose "Add to Home screen".
Move the icon to the part of your screen that you want.
Now it has an icon (like an app) and you can open it easily.
Also, on mine, it seems to open in a different instance to the chrome browser, without the chrome navigation taking up space. Which is nice.
Good Luck! Do you have the new English-Japanese tree? I do not, and I am looking forward to it.
I will try to keep my Chinese-French tree golden, and to try to improve at the Chinese-Japanese one. But I am finding it more and more difficult after L2, so maybe I need to concentrate on English-Chinese again.
It depends on the demand for the course. If the course teaches a language for English speakers that is in higher demand then it would get released to the app sooner. For the Japanese for Chinese speakers course and other courses for Chinese speakers, I think it will take much longer since the demand for them is much lower compared to English speakers courses.
With the course now on iOS, I am still waiting for it to come out on Android...
That's true. Usually the course of a certain language for English speakers is better designed and has more content than the one for the other language speakers. Still I am happy to see that they are recently adding more courses for Chinese speakers other than just the English and Spanish course.
