How can Deaf people do the auditory/sound quizzes??

Is there any way to just turn off the auditory quizzes? I am profoundly deaf. I can't for the life of me get any of those questions right where you have to listen in and reply to what you've heard. I just want to use Duolingo to learn/practice the written/visual aspects of a language. Wasn't it possible to turn that off in the original app?

You can change your settings here:

Also you can find this by hovering over your username near the streak and lingot icons

Also, (if anyone else wanted to know) you can turn off the listening/speaking on the iOS app by clicking profiile (upper right hand corner), Settings (upper left hand corner) and just below 'Sign out', you can toggle Sound effects, Speaking exercises, and Listening exercises.
Currently the app and web are tied together, so if you turn off listening exercises on the app, it will turn them off on the website as well (and vice versa)

I don't know if anyone from duolingo monitors these posts but HERE's A SUGGESTION: make this option much more accessible because I'd switch between them often. When sitting in a long boring conference, I'd like to just use the written test. When I'm busy with my hands (cooking or gardening) I'd like to just use the verbal tests.

The deaf NEED vowel points in Hebrew. Trust me! Its the only way I know to learn how to pronounce a word or to tell one word from another. I need to see the word at first with the vowel points.

Thinking about this even more. What would be really awesome would be an entirely hands free option that I could use while driving to just work on my verbal skills.

I don't have a microphone connected to my pc because I don't have one. I hate to sound stupid but guess I don't really have an option as far as auditory quizzes?? But I feel like the auditory capability would actually help me to learn the language better.
