HelenD. I wonder if A3 would find just a couple of minutes interesting? Just a thought.
Thanks for this. I was hoping that Duo would come up with Italian stories, but good on you, you have taken the initiative. Have a lingot.
Thank you Mija. I hope I can keep producing these contents as much as possible. buona giornata :)
Excellent. The latest on Cristofo C is really enjoyable. I can learn and listen while relaxing. I hope you continue with this series and thank you for all the work you put into it. Tanti auguri a te Simoneatt11:-)
Really happy to be helpful for you Linda :)
Grazie per il tuo sostegno, una buona giornata
just let me know when you are in Italy... I'll move for hug you :D Or I will commit the hug to one friend of mine :)
Ciao, Linda! Sono confuso... la mucca? Non trovo quella storia. Can you put a link, per favore? :D
Sharon. It was Simoneatt's very first lesson. It should be grouped with his others. Try YouTube "Italiano in 7 minuti - verbo mangiare - lesson 1". I can't find a Yt reference darnit, but this should help. Hope you enjoy - fabulous to hear a real Italian voice. Ciao Sharon. A dopo...
Just found and loved your Christopher Columbus story. Please do another.
Simoneatt ciao. With the loss of our Clubs, I now have more time to Listen. We really love your easy style. Ciao...
This is fantastic! I love the intermediate level - challenging yet still able to understand most of it. I think you should produce your own podcast on stitcher or apple; this would be a great series to listen to in the evenings before bed as well as giving people the option of listening to it without the subtitles. Plus, the speed in which you speak and your annunciation is just perfect! I wouldn't change a thing.
I have a question: what is the tense of the verb "Nacque?"
Buon lavoro! Scusa per non scrivere in Italiano; sono di fretta oggi e qualche volta ci metto troppo tempo!
golightly no worries I can easily understand your english :)
Nacque is passato remoto... usually in biographies we use it.... While if my cousin is born few days ago I could say : alcuni giorni fa è nato mio cugino ....
So usually the passato remoto is used for an action in the past that is over and doesn't affect the present anymore... Even "morì" is the same tense, passato remoto of morire :)
If you need more clarification let me know :)
