Bring back clubs, please?

Hey! I am overall happy with Duolingo and I think it is awesome. But there was great rapport and comradery in my german club. We helped each other learn and had great interaction and healthy competition. I am following them but we don't have any means to interact now. Also, in this new league system I am competing mostly with people who are learning English.

I tried to bring them back. No answer so far. Take a look at all posts about save Clubs. Most of them praise clubs for the ability to interact with peer learners. I also created a petition. It seems they doesn't listen.

In case you want Clubs back sign the petition here:

I’m with @MauroRiver1, the camaraderie and interaction of the club structure is a beneficial adjunct to the Duolingo process, as well as a motivating influence !

Not only are clubs gone now. Following also became meaningless since as of today the friends-scoreboard is gone as well.

I agree entirely. Bring the clubs back or any other means to interact with people learning the same language. With this new Leaguebord system, each week you are listed with new people you don't know and who learn other languages than yours. Moreover you compete with people who use shortcuts to score huge XP accounts. It's useless if the purpose is to learn a language correctly.

Moi aussi, mon club français me manque! Bring back clubs, in addition to leaderboard.
