This is mostly table manners.
Eat sushi in one bite. It's okay if you can't, but if that happens you must not put it on the plate. Keep holding it with either your chopsticks or your fingers, whichever you picked it up with.
When using chopsticks to pick up food from a shared plate, use the other end of the chopsticks.
Pick your plate or bowl clean of even a single grain of rice. This shows proper respect for the one who prepared it.
Whatever you do, do NOT mix soy sauce and wasabi.

I prefer to have a nicely sized chunk of wasabi on top of my sushi before dipping the bottom in soy sauce. It’s a double- sided sushi this way. Technically still separated flavor- wise.
I knew about the one-bite sushi (although I usually need two bites) but not the other ones. Thanks for sharing!
