Any good apps for learning to write chinese characters?

Hey all, as the title says I am looking for an app on my phone that I can use to practise writing chinese characters, it would be cool if it could have a feature to put in a list of charactors to practice to. Thanks for any help.

I used it for a little bit before my schedule got to be too much to do both it and duolingo, but "Drops" does a pretty good job in their mandarin course of helping you nail writing Chinese characters.

I use Ninchanese (https://ninchanese.com/ is the identical web version), and write or write in my head every character I review or learn. They have an amazing review algorithm that has really helped me. In the page for each character, there is an animation showing how to write it, which shows things you wouldn't notice from the printed version of the character.

Is it free or is it one of those where you only have very limited options if you don't get the paid version?

The free version allows you to access vocabulary exercises, and review them nicely. If you want thorough grammar and speaking/listening though, you need premium.

你好

我用 skritter 学习写汉语字。

It's paid, but it works OK and you can get all vocabulary for HSK and also some people have created wordlists for Duolingo's characters as well.

You'll find practice both easiest and most useful writing the strokes using a pen or pencil - many apps show stroke order, I really enjoy pleco

I would google draw Chinese characters recognition app

I don't like adds, and I don't want to install it to see if the ads are annoying.

I strongly recommend purchasing a magic cloth. You can use any brush (although a calligraphy brush is of course nicer) and can write characters over and over with water. After a few minutes the writing completely disappears. They're very cheap and you can find many on Amazon and eBay, although many come directly from China or Hong Kong so the delivery time will be much longer.

http://hanni.pro/ Not an app actually, but it is a very simple and convenient way to learn how to write a Chinese character. All writings are animated and you can prepare and send a list of characters to your e-mail.

I liked the Chinese Skill app but haven't tried any others. It goes stroke by stroke and works decently.
