Na verdade esse "on" pertence ao verbo experimentar ( try on).
Ex: I have to try the jeans on.
( Eu tenho que experimentar o jeans). O "on" estaria lá ( por que ele pertence ao verbo "tray on"), mesmo que o "first" não estivesse na frase.
