Why is it mozvon and not just mozun

Because "mōzun" is the indicative of "I drink" and to create a sentence with "daor" at the end, you use the subjunctive + "daor". "Mōzvon" is the subjunctive of "I drink", so you'll need to use it if you want to say "I don't drink/I am not drinking".
