I think my lessons are starting to stick
I'm hearing "田中さんは日本人です" and "マリアさんは中国しゅっしんです" in my sleep.
Good for you! Do you also listen to Japanese songs and/or watch film or tv in Japanese? It helps me a lot most especially with learning the basic words and phrases.
Yeah, I listen to songs and I like to listen to drama CDs while reading subtitles
One day I really hope to meet Mr Tanaka. He seems to have lived an interesting life.
Nice! Did you start with any background knowledge, or did you learn it all from Duo? Japanese is hard for me! LOL
I knew a few things like "watashi" and a few other pronouns but everything else is from Duolingo.
I'm just starting my Japanese on DUO (spent time in Japan) Could do some ordering of food, shopping, talking with students but NOT writing or reading. I try writing to the Japanese family I stayed with using "Japanese" and they are very nice about praising me.
I haven't even gotten to the intro stage yet, I'm still on Hiragana 3 & 4.
Don't worry, it won't give you problems long. Those phrases are going to become stuck in your head.
now sometimes I wake up speaking Japanese and have dreams that im speaking in all Japanese
