Not perfect but a fantastic resource

I started using Duolingo over a year ago to learn my native language, Irish, which is taught so badly in school that I couldn't string a sentence together aged 46. Duolingo has made it very easy for me to learn at my own pace and sure, I'm probably still below primary school level, but I don't care. Of course, Duolingo has it's errors and can be a little confusing at times, but for a free resource it's pretty damn cool! Great job, Duo!!!

Good for you! I am constantly hearing people talk about being proficient in a language but losing it quickly after they stop using it on a regular basis.
