A lost streak doesn't suddenly eliminate all the knowledge you accumulated before, you still know just as much as you did yesterday. Don't give the streak more meaning than it has, it's just an indicator of how orderly your daily schedule is, and we all have those odd days when we can't keep up with daily tasks.

Also, make studying a habit. Even if you forget to brush your teeth on a certain day, it's ridiculous to imagine you'll stop doing it forever because you're not motivated anymore. You don't need motivation to brush your teeth, it's a habit. So pick a time to study, set a reminder on your phone, and do it until it becomes a habit and you forget about motivation. Motivation is fickle, habits are lasting.

Yes, I agree. I do my lesson every day when I get home from work, while I'm waiting for dinner to finish cooking. After the first couple of months, it became a habit. I don't need to remember to do it, I just automatically do it when I get home now. Some days I feel more motivated than others. On the days I'm not feeling it, I review old lessons just to keep the habit, even if I can't move forward that day.

usually people lose motivation after a while, then they stop the activity all at once. it is normal to lose motivation. Just set up a daily routine/goal and do the set amount of work everyday. Your motivation will come back.

Just start again. I lost around 137 or so one time. But I've seen others who lose their Streak and they are so dejected, they wander off and don't bother much anymore. Just pick yourself up, brush off the dust and start again! All the best and tell us how you go! ♡
