"I succeeded to stand up" is a very awkwardly phrased English sentence, to say the least.

I agree with this, perhaps "I succeeded to stand" is a better translation. To be honest in English you would say 'I was able to stand up" or "I stood up correctly" which wouldn't use berhasil. Perhaps "Saya bisa berhasil."
