CANNOT CANCEL DUO PLUS
I use a mac / iOS and have tried to cancel my Duo Plus monthly subscription -- multiple times in multiple ways!! I submitted 2-3 bug reports outlining the problem. I have put in a charge dispute with my credit card company.
This has been going on for over 6 months. It's ridiculous!!
When I go to the Duolingo Account settings online on my mac, it shows that I do not have an active subscription. When I go to my iTunes subscriptions, it shows that I do not have an active subscription -- in fact does not even show a past subscription.
Since neither account is showing an active subscription, I CANNOT CANCEL what is not showing up!!
HOWEVER, every month, without fail, there is a $9.99 charge from Duolingo! I am getting so damn fed up with this! NO CONTACT from DUOLINGO despite emails and bug reports AND an ongoing charge dispute!
I WANT ACTION!!!!!!!!
I would go to the bank and tell them. Better if you can show you did cancel on your end. One reason I like doing screenshots is because it shows what I did do. So glad I never got the Plus because yours isn't the first time I have seen in the discussion a problem with canceling. You are due a refund from what you have said you have already done.
