that sounds like a threat
Haha, It kinda does. Like "You are going to count from 1 to 5 or else...."
Although I got it correct, I thought counting was expressed by using 'uno hasta cinco'. Is there any difference?
I think "uno hasta cinco" is "one through five" and "de uno a cinco" is "from one to five". I could be wrong though. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am.
No no no. Usted va contar a tres! Tres es el número que usted conta hasta. No conta a quatro, y no conta a dos, sin en el camino a tres.
I thought that counting to a number was expressed through "hasta"?
Not exclusively, in this case "a" works as a preposition, just like "hasta". It indicates direction from 1 to 5. It's equally valid.
Sounds like something a hypnotist would say!
