Laugh while you learn: Jimmy Carr + Italian subtitles
I came accidently upon this. On You Tube, if you type Jimmy Carr in Search - one of the first items is "Jimmy Carr, Live at the Apollo (2007) : SUB ITA" i.e it has Italian Subtitles, and I was amazed to find I could read the Italian as he spoke!
This is not a video for the easily offended. Ma porca troia....it's funny....and with Italian :)
Here's the link for anyone interested:
I did laugh, that for all the people who complain about Duolingo's use of penguins, the word 'penguin' came up in the first 30 seconds. :D
I don't have time to watch the rest now, but I will check it out later. Thanks Alice. :)
I thought seeing penguin come up was pretty amazing too, and it put an extra smile on my face.
You'll have to teach me how to post links sometime. For instance where did you get that? with a copy and paste from ...... It's OK I think I've almost worked it out... Just copied this page as a link... But its not gone blue, like a link so still not sure??? :(
Aha it went blue once I'd saved the post :) xx
Considering I used to teach a lot of computer applications, and other stuff, and had once nearly been offered a job by British Airways when I was 17 as a Trainee Computer Programmer, my Ignorance and omissions in basic computer knowledge astounds me! lol
I can remember, just a decade ago, someone showing me www and that I didn't have to type the http // bit . The web was new to all of us. Things move on exponentially. When I look at my cheap little smart phone, compared to my first mobile a decade ago...well!! :)
