"No press allowed" would be a better colloquial translation. It is not accepted.

Wouldn't "The press is forbidden from entering" also be a valid translation?

"Press" as a place???

According to KBBI, "pers" means 1) "media", "news broadcasters" or "publisher" (printing) as an organization/industry, 2) "journalism" as a journalistic effort/activity, or 3) "publications" as an outcome of journalism. I also looked it up in several dictionaries but nothing is found as a place.

A sign in English expressing the same sentiment would be: PRESS FORBIDDEN ENTRY Unfortunately, that response was not accepted.
