Can't copy & paste from Duolingo forum discussions

This used to work (I'd frequently do so into google translate!), but with some change that's been made recently it appears to no longer do so, at least using Chrome, in fact you can't even select at all. Anyone else experience this?

It happened to me too. When (about 4 month ago) I started studying on Duolingo I couldn't select anything that was written on the Forum. About two weeks ago the problem dissapeared - and today again I cannot select any text!

I use Chrome. I noticed that these changes come with the changes of the design. So maybe we have to wait for another change. Because some changes are happening: for example when I write a comment I cannot see the flags of the languages I'm learning next to my avatar any more. I see there only my streak days.

P. S. About a month ago I made a post in the Russian Forum asking if anyone had the same problem. 2 users said they hat the same problem, 2 said that they hadn't. I tried to change browser to Firefox and Opera but it didn't help.

I posted in the wrong forum originally and somebody pointed out there it only happens if your browser window isn't wide enough - fully maximized it's fine. Odd.

I think it is extremely annoying that they disabled the copy-and-paste function in Duolingo. I type a long sentence in a new language, make a small mistake, and then would like to copy the incorrect sentence so I can make it correct. But Duolingo wants me to type the complete sentence again, which means I might make another tiny mistake. Can't I decide myself? I want to learn a language, not earn lingots. So I do not want to be bullied.

Actually, I wanted to gilden my Hebrew skill-tree, but it has become to anoying now. For me, the consequence is: learn any languages only to some medium level, then stop because it gets too annoying. So my request is: please please Duo, let me use copy-and-paste again. Not because I want to cheat, but because I want to learn efficiently!!
