The lesson made a big deal of bus stands being called Stendi. Why was "Tunashuka stendi" rejected?

Stendi is what most Tanzanians use, not "kituo cha basi"

where did you see 'stendi'?

It was in this lesson! I think the first of the three in this level.

Is a bus stand the same as a bus stop?

Would it be correct to say 'Tunashuka kituoni cha basi' or is it unnecessary to specify that it is a location?

Stendi ya basi should be accepted...as you have already told us Stendi meant stand IN THIS LESSON!

Stendi ya basi was introduced as busstand in this skill and it is even mentioned in the hints, so it also needs to be accepted. Reported it Jan 2nd 2022
