"Tono has arrived in Jakarta."

Translation:Tono sudah tiba di Jakarta.

Tono has already arrived in Jakarta...seems a more correct translation

Both are correct. The word "sudah" in the Indonesian sentence means the action "tiba" has been completed, and this is expressed in English by the use of the present prefect tense. You would use "already" only if you need to give emphasis.
