Streak Freeze Overcharging on Lingots
Today when I went to purchase a streak freeze on my android phone, it cost me 190 more lingots than I intended to spend. Before today, I had been building up my lingot total, bringing to 206 as of this morning. I had purchased the streak freeze plenty of times before, always for the 10 lingot price that the store offered it for. But today when I went to purchase the streak freeze (which was still offered at 10 lingots), I was surprised to discover that a total of 200 lingots was taken from my account, leaving me with a total of 6 left. I quick logged on with my computer and, sure enough, I was down to 6. This is really frustrating I would really like to have my 200 lingots refunded and have the "streak freeze" purchase button in the shop say what it will actually charge you.
I reported this as a bug, is there anywhere else that I could go about reporting such a thing in hopes of a refund?
Hello, I had the same issue 30 mins ago, got 797 lingots, after streak freeze purchase got 597.
Maybe that's a sign they're attempting to fix the problem? Hopefully you can buy one soon! (At normal price
Just adding my name to the list. About 30 minutes ago, the app said it was 10 lingots, but took 200.
I have the same problem. I had about 230 lingtons, and after buing streak freeze on phone i have only 48. That isn't a big thing, but my question is why? It cost only 10, not 190 or something like that.
Maybe they are finally bringing the pricing of a streak freeze up to something approaching a sane level? They have been ludicrously cheap.
Likewise it only had 10 lingots listed on the price, but I got charged 200. It also offered me 20 for the weekend amulet but lol, I didn't risk it after this.
That might be the case, considering people are charged the same amount, but I guess it's just a bug.
Anyway, even if they are really going to change the price, I think 200 is a little bit too much. (it should be 50-100 for streak freeze and 150-200 for the weekend amulet, if we want to balance it per course)

I'm also having this issue--bought a streak freeze yesterday and dropped from 209 to 9 lingots.
I don't know why people are proposing increases for Streak Freezes. Some people need to use Streak Freezes often and cannot afford 75, 100, 200 lingots every time they need one. It's supposed to be fun (gamification) not stressful and burdensome.
I wonder why people want to call it a streak but don't have to keep up a streak. (The answer is obviously that it makes people both work and pay for it, but that doesn't make it a streak if you didn't do the daily work.)
It's just a gimmick to get people to stick to it. And the Streak Freeze makes it convenient to do so. The Streak protection is a good idea because you could get a disruption from almost anything . These frequent bugs are evidence of that. I'm having a problem right now with things not displaying on my phone's screen as it should. Once I give an answer, hit the check answer button the screen don't display the Continue button so I can't go to the next question. Therefore I can't get my required xp for that day. I have a 425 day streak that I could lose for something beyond my control. The only way to protect it is with continual streak freezes which now has a bug. Cost me 200 lingots last week for one Streak Freeze.
I personally have not. I don't want to risk it. I worked too hard for the lingots I accumulated. And I built them up for a specific purpose. I worked hard and long for those lingots.
Yeah, I'm the same way. Fortunately I haven't needed to use a streak freeze recently but I'm sure the day is coming.
I have, it just charged the normal amount (although it couldn't have charged more since I only have 20 left since they overcharged me the first time :/)
