Czech tree - Finished!
I'd happily like to announce that I have completed my Czech tree! I did it a couple of days ago, but forgot to make a discussion about it.
Edit: Here is the ideo of me finishing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjQ6tkswEKY
Thank you all for the support!
Congratulations! As a native Czech speaker I'm curious - what motivated you to learn this rather difficult language?
Well, I lived in the Czech republic for 2 years, and that is why I started learning. After I left the ČR, I noticed that the language brought a very sentimental feeling to me, so I continued learning it.
You might want to take a look at this post:
How comfortable do you feel reading a simple book, and listening to a Czech radio broadcast?
Have you used other supplemental resources while learning Czech?
Congratulations, by the way!!! Czech is on my list after Spanish and French, but it's difficult for me to fit languages into my life these days. I applaud you.
I feel comfortable reading them, but I do lack vocabulary sometimes, and I feel like I get confused with grammar (not that often).
Radio goes smoothly, but I personally feel like I do need to learn some expressions and more general terminology (politics, music, etc.).
I did use my 2 years leaving in the Czech Republic as my building base. The rest was done out of the Czech Republic with Duolingo and a little bit of Memrise. My sister also taught me a lot of vocab.
Ym! And just so you know, I made an edit to the post. I added a link to a YT video that shows me doing the last lesson of the tree.
yes congratulations!! how do you get it in black?? looks nice :). i didn't understand that we are supposed to do the whole tree first, so i still haven't finished mine, but some of my earlier skills are at like a 4 or 5. oops! now i'm going down the tree all at once.
Cool! I use an extension for chrome that gives a dark mode to duolingo. You might want to try it out :)
Good job. I finished my tree on all level 2 a while back. I'm currently working on Golding it all out :)
