Russian Alphabet Mastery – 3 Hour Cyrillic
This app, available for both Android and iOS, educational, entertaining, and fun.
The first step, putting Cyrillic letters in an English context, is sometimes silly, but mnemonics frequently are. That's why they stick in our minds.
The bulk of the course focuses on signs, a major stumbling block in a new country with a new alphabet. A noteworthy aspect is the variety of fonts used.
Carefully comparing the author's pronunciation to his native informant's should alert you to the mistakes that we native English speakers make with vowels and palatization.
Along the way, you'll pick up everyday vocabulary that doesn't seem to make it into language courses—hamburger and cheeseburger, for example. Speaking of which, I learned the Russian for "cheese" (сыр) from these videos before it appeared on Duolingo.

You could also write out the Cyrillic alphabet. But got to remember that everyone is different with learning languages.
