Witam, therealigor!

Podaję Ci przykład dla szybszego zrozumienia.

Ten, ta, to = rodzajniki

ten = rodz. męski.. np.....mężczyzna, chłopak, pies, kot

ta = rodz. żeński.... np... kobieta, dziewczyna , książka, lalka

to = rodz. nijaki....np....dziecko, łóżko, kociątko, mydło

..pozdrawiam.....Danuta :)

Just to avoid any confusion, be aware that "to" is also a completely different Polish word meaning "is"

e.g., "Tygrys to kot" means "A tiger is a cat"

  • ten + masculine nouns ( masculine nouns usually end with a consonant i.e. stół, telefon, komputer etc)

  • ta + feminine nouns (fem. nous usually end with a vowel (most often -a) like gazeta, miska, kobieta etc)

  • to + neuter nouns ( nueter nouns usually end with -o like łóżko, krzesło, auto etc)

Ten/ta/to are usually translated as this (ten kot=this cat etc) and always refer to a nominative case.
