Is it possible to repair my streak?

I left my phone at home and wasn't able to get back home until past 24:00. Ended up losing my 82 day streak, if I were to spend 10 dollars on buying Duolingo Plus for a month, would I be able to repair my streak?

Positive, either you go with "Duolingo Plus" on the web portal to get your streak repaired

or

you buy - with real $$$ - the "streak repair" item on the mobile apps.

A Plus trial or 1+ month subscription might make more sense (ROI).

Why do you feel the need to artificially continue your streak? It is just a number and if you missed a day is there really any point in continuing it? I don't understand the streak obsessions. It does not impact your learning to lose it, nor does it impact your learning to continue it indefinitely, nor does it impact your learning to fake it. On top of that, it looks like you only had an 82 day streak. That is easy enough to get back, less than 3 months. I would never pay real money to get back a meaningless streak.

That said, I don't know how the repairs work because I refuse to use them, but according to https://duome.eu/AndexTM it currently says "82 days streak lost 2 days ago ยท repair available". So it looks like a repair can be used. I don't know for how much longer or how it works, but there you go, do as you wish.

You can repair it today and tomorrow.

When the number switches from 3 to 4 for the "lost days ago" variable, the eligible flag will switch to FALSE.

Same is true once the "current (restarted) streak" goes to 3 or 4 (I am 100% certain about the 4; 98,99% sure that only 2 is accepted as the current restarted streak as maximum).
