Yes, medical doctor is طبيب in Arabic. I am curious why the course is using دكتور which means PhD Doctor. Unless they want to convey the latter.
i think there is a bias towards a local dialect which is problematic.
There shouldn't be a shadda sign above the ي of هي in standard Arabic.
