Why isn't "The Jordanian teacher" accepted?

The Jordanian teacher = المعلمة الأردنية

it needs to be explained before the lesson.

Would "the female teacher is Jordanian" also be correct?

I see someone has downvoted my question without any comment. Couldn't someone reply? Isn't it technically accurate that the teacher is female in this sentence?

Yes but you don't need to mention female. It's implied by the marbuta as far as I know.
