Does anyone else agree that the voices speak way too fast?
Maybe it's just me, but I find myself clicking the button a dozen times each question just to try and make out what they are trying to say.
I know that some of the questions have a button that slows the speech down, so can all questions have that option?
Japanese is one of those languages that tend to be spoken really fast (in terms of syllables per second), they probably made the bots speak at this rate to reflect this.
I completely agree, and I feel like the kinda slur everything together. It is very hard to tell one word from another.
That would be a nice addition for sure. I tend to avoid the listening practice for Japanese because the speech sometimes moves too fast even for me.
What would be the best way to bring this to the attention of an Admin? I feel like the "turtle" option for each question wouldn't be a very difficult fix to implement... maybe? lol
Honestly, that's part of the practice to train your ear. That's why there's a turtle button. Start by focussing on what you can hear, not what you can't, and see if you can fill in the blanks in your head.
Well, that's the issue. There isn't always a turtle button. I would use it at the beginning to get used to it, but I'm sure after a time I would shy away from pressing that button because I wouldn't need it as much. If I can never understand what they're saying, I can't train my ear...
