Fun + humbling = fumbling?

I'm having a great time, but my goodness, I hadn't quite realized how instinctual my command of grammar is. I had to google "copula" before I could appreciate why I might need a crib sheet about it! (Although if I had stopped to think about it, I suppose I might have deduced the meaning from "copulate." Ah, the cheating that Greek and Latin roots affords one.) If I get nothing else from Irish, I hope to get a better grasp on the more technical mechanics of language. I'm also becoming extremely curious about how the language developed, so now I'm probably going to want to read a history about it at some point.

Does anyone have a crib sheet for lenition or eclipsis? I'm probably going to end up writing things down eventually, but a stopgap would be nice.

It ain’t cheating if you already know the roots’ meanings. ;*)
