Is England pronounced "injiltira" or "ingiltra"? It's written like the former, but the audio sounds like latter.

"InJiltra" and "Ingiltra" are two variations of pronunciation and are both correct. While I and everyone I know would pronounce it "Ingiltra"- similar to its native "g" sound, other accents such as Egyptian would use the "J" pronunciation.

Both is possible. Found both options in my dictionary. But it's wrong -like Duolingo does- to write ,,injiltira" and say ,,ingiltra" or other way round, because what you said is obviously not what is written.

Another thread said that because it is a foreign word, it does typically use the "g" sound that you hear in the word England.

As I know for some time living in middle east that Egyptian pronounce ج like g in England, but Lebanese are pronoucing as g in sabotage. If there is Arabic native speaker please correct me.
